We are delighted to share with you the highlights of our Meet & Greet Day in The Hub, Castlerea, which marked our 60th anniversary of working for animal welfare. We are very grateful to everyone who contributed to our day in the Hub. We appreciate the Hub’s assistance in arranging the room for us, it was a great help and we thank you sincerely. We also want to acknowledge Garda Owen Moore from the Castlerea Garda Station, who joined us and offered support and advice to all the visitors.
The colouring competition for the young people was a big hit. They showed great teamwork and enthusiasm, and they are a credit to themselves and their families. They are the future of animal welfare and we thank them for their participation. We also thank everyone who registered as a volunteer and those who donated cat and dog food and toys. Your generosity is much appreciated. The tea, coffee and homemade cakes were delicious, thanks to the bakers. A total of €602.56 was raised on the day.
We would like to express our gratitude to the Current Directors, committee and volunteers who have made this possible. Roscommon SPCA CLG is in good hands and we look forward to the future. We also want to thank all our followers and supporters on all of our media platforms for your ongoing support, donations, kind words and encouragement.
