WELFARE UPDATE

  • by

The Roscommon SPCA has had a bustling start to the year, showcasing the dedication and hard work of its volunteers. With nearly 5000 calls and messages received since the beginning of January, the organization has been a beacon of hope for many animals.

The figures speak volumes about their impact: 76 dogs and 464 cats have been neutered, significantly helping to control the pet population and improve animal welfare.

Additionally, 115 sick and injured animals have received much-needed care since the 1st of January 2024 to date, further emphasizing the vital role of the SPCA in the community.

Our veterinary care bills for December, January & February have come to €43,674.00, and the outstanding bills for March and yet to be paid are around €6,000.00.

Our fundraising is ongoing and is vital to the work we do, without your help and donations, we would not be able to help as many animals as we have been doing. Donations can be made via this link.
