Tiny Tim Stole All Our Hearts

Back in June, this little boy was found lying in the middle of a lady’s driveway. He had been there all night, unable to walk. The moment Geraldine picked him up, he snuggled into her neck, so grateful to be safe at last, and rewarded her with the loudest, most contented purr. From that moment on, Tiny Tim captured everyone’s hearts.

Karen, one of our dedicated volunteers, collected him and rushed him to Emlagh Lodge Vets. X-rays revealed a severely fractured back leg. The vet believed the injury had happened at least a week earlier. Tiny Tim must have been in excruciating pain, yet through it all, he never once complained.

Following surgery, he spent a few days recovering with Katrina, another of our wonderful volunteers, before moving to his foster home with Suzie. There, he has received exceptional care, plenty of love, and daily physiotherapy to help him regain his strength.

Despite everything he has endured, Tiny Tim—now affectionately known as Sully Baker—has never stopped purring. He is a beautiful, affectionate and playful little boy who adores cuddles and simply wants to be close to people.

We’re hopeful that, as his leg continues to strengthen, he won’t need any further surgery. However, there is still a possibility that he may require knee surgery in the future. If he does, Roscommon SPCA will ensure he receives all the treatment he needs.

Now all Tiny Tim needs is a loving, gentle and quiet forever home where he can continue to flourish.

If you think you could open your heart and home to this very special little boy, please apply to adopt him. We promise you’ll find it impossible to resist his huge personality, his endless affection and those wonderfully loud, happy purrs.

Tiny Tim has touched all of our hearts. Now he’s waiting to touch yours.

Home Checks

Home checks are a simple, supportive part of our adoption process. They help ensure every rescue pet is placed safely and set up for a happy future.

A home check:

  • Confirms the home and garden are safe and secure
  • Helps us match the right animal to the right environment
  • Allows us to offer advice for settling your new pet
  • Ensures each adoption is a lifelong, stable placement

A home visit is required to make sure our cats and kittens are rehomed in suitable environments — and it also gives you the chance to ask any questions.
