Sailor’s Story
Sailor has been through more than most cats his age. Our vets believe he may have been hit by a car in the past — his right hip healed out of its socket, and his leg may have been broken long ago. Recently, he suffered a pelvic fracture, possibly from jumping down from a counter.
X-rays show that his femur is deteriorating, and there’s a 50/50 chance of a tumour or muscle tissue that formed over the old injury. Despite all this, Sailor remains the sweetest boy — playful, cuddly, and full of love.
He’s now fully settled as an indoor cat and has no interest in venturing outside again. We’re hoping his leg won’t need to be amputated, but whatever happens, Sailor will have all the care and comfort he deserves.
Adoption Requirements
Before adopting, please ensure you can provide a safe, stable, and loving lifelong home for your new companion.
To adopt, you will need:
- Valid photo ID
- A recent utility bill showing your Eircode
- An adoption fee of €25 per cat or kitten

Once your kitten is old enough, you can also avail of our discounted neutering scheme for just €35, helping to ensure your new pet has the best start in life.

A home visit is required to make sure our cats and kittens are rehomed in suitable environments — and it also gives you the chance to ask any questions.
